A. C. Lindner

Texas artist A.C. Lindner uses traditional handcrafted materials and old master painting techniques to create museum quality oil paintings of subjects from everyday life. Lindner paints commissions and participates in curated and juried exhibitions worldwide.

“I live on a small horse farm near Austin where I have my studio. The studio has perfect northern light for painting, and I can look out and watch the deer and other wildlife while I paint. I also keep a cutting garden where I can readily find subject matter for paintings. I find inspiration in the smallest things, it may be a butterfly or the way the sunset rakes light across the landscape. Beauty is all around us, and it is this simple beauty that I try to convey to the viewer in my paintings.”

A.C. Lindner was featured as an “Artist to Watch” in the August 2007 issue of Southwest Art magazine. Awards include the Stanton-Gage Art Award and the Thanhardt-Burger Corporation Award of Excellence at the Oil Painters of America National Juried Exhibition of Traditional Oils.

Selected publications include Southwest Art, American Art Collector, and International Contemporary Masters. Memberships include Oil Painters of America, Artists of Texas, American Women Artists, and California Art Club.

Original paintings and commissions are available through Russell Collection Fine Art, Austin, Texas.
